OUR FARM IN DORSET
A DECADE WORKING THE LAND
With over 10 years shared experience in regerative farming, our farm follows a pasture-based, rotational grazing system built around animals, soil, and time, working with the land, not against it.

DEXTER CATTLE
A small herd of Dexter cattle are our grass cutters. They favour long grass and are first to graze pastures after rest periods.
WILTSHIRE HORN SHEEP
Our flock of Wiltshire Horn sheep are our grazers. They prefer to nibble on shorter grass, leaving pasture short and even.
REAL PASTURE EGGSPRESS
Real Pasture Eggspress managed a flock of 450 pasture-raised laying hens. The birds lived their whole lives on grass, moving to fresh pasture every three days in the "eggspress-mobiles".
WOODLAND PIGS
Our woodland-raised pigs are the earth workers. They root through wild patches on the farm, turning the soil, ready to be regenerated into working systems.
WILD RAW HONEY
We keep a small number of Warré hives on the farm. The bees move freely across the farm, pollinating as they go. We harvest a small amount of wild raw honey every few years, leaving the rest for the bees winter feed.
FRUIT FOREST, TREES & POLYTUNNEL
We have planted over 200 native UK trees on the farm, including cherry, oak and maple, as-well as a developing fruit forest and a thriving poly-tunnel.
FARMYARD CREW
BEAR
Bear is our farmyard terrier. He patrols the boundaries, keeping an eye on predators. Never far when there are bones or trimmings about.
POLO
Polo is our farmyard cat who loves being on the land. He moves quietly hunting mice, and is usually close to wherever there’s activity. A steady presence around the farm.
CASSIE
Cassie was our border terrier, who we lost in 2025. A devoted fetch player, and happiest with a ball nearby. She also loved finding a quiet spot in the sun, watching the farm go by.
